Ed Reed injury: Texans S had hip surgery, expected to be ready for training camp

07:03 PM ET 05.03 | Houston Texans safety Ed Reed, who signed a three-year contract with the Houston Texans in late March, had arthroscopic surgery last week to repair a labral tear in his hip, according to the Houston Chronicle's John McClain. Reed expects to be ready for a return by the start of training camp.

Ya that won't happen. Hips don't heal fast. They also can be recurring injuries.
