11:30 AM ET 05.04 | Michel Therrien said the Canadiens have been full of surprises all season and they delivered another one Friday night as they defeated the Ottawa Senators 3-1. "It's character and that's what we showed all season," Therrien said after the Canadiens won with three top forwards -- Lars Eller, Brian Gionta and Max Pacioretty -- on the sidelines with injuries. "We surprised everyone who thought we would be down after losing three key players." Therrien said earlier in the day that goaltender Carey Price had to be good. He was that and a little more. "Carey was very good tonight, he made key saves at the right moments," Therrien said after Price made 29 saves to allow the Canadiens to tie the best-of-seven series 1-1. Price, who ducked the media after a less-than-stellar performance in Game 1 on Thursday, said he put that out of his mind. "This is the playoffs and you can't dwell on the last game," said Price.

I wish nobody expected me to do my job until 11:30am.

Thanks interns.

And speaking of doing their jobs, it curious to see the CBC broadcasting the Wild/Hawks while the Canucks were playing.

All this time I thought it was the Canadian Broadcasting Company but apparently it's Chicago.

It's not just the CXC, Canuck - TZN figured we all wanted to watch always Amer-eee-con games instead of the Jets during the playoff drive, too. The quasi--govermental HNUC/CXC passed on the Mound Royale - Jets nooner to finish the season, too - mind you, 'peg was Knocked out before the third perrier was started. It's looking real good for Vandaloover, Turdrunto, and Squatterwa, to be gone by game five or six, round one - say about May 10-12. Could be a loooooong, hot summer for the Harpercons - the Canadian Government, that is, for the under-initiated - S. Harper (Omnibus Prime), Flibberty Flabberty, Brer Baird, I-am-not-really-that-dumb Mckay, P (the Count) Kent, Rollie (I got Heritage) Moore, and assorted berms, ****, and garden variety ****. Can't wait for the Electicons Canardia final report on the last robo-vote - due out mandatorily by May 20.

The CBC got to pick 2 series than TSN one than CBC 2 Of course the Ontario teams got the 1-2 and as an added bonus they also got Montreal TSN then took Vancouver the only other Canadian team

If playoff money was performance based the Sedin's would be getting minimum wage. And only cause that's the minimum. Your best players should be your best players Luo amazingly is the only one who's shown up these 1st 2 games Kesler brought his A-game in game 2 after being invisible in game 1 And every time I see Raymond fall down I want to throttle Gillis for keeping him over Grabner
