08:45 AM ET 05.05 | Given his connection to the under-investigation Biogenesis Clinic, Alex Rodriguez is probably the last player Major League Baseball would want to be ahead of schedule in his recovery from injury. But the Yankees have cleared him to begin baseball activities after surgery on his left hip. MLB meanwhile continues to dig into records at the clinic, searching for proof that it was dispensing banned PEDs to dozens of players.

Fair enough, now name again the other dozens of players currently on MLB rosters in the investigation....

May 5, 2013  09:37 AM ET

Note: At least 90 players named!

"There are at least 90 baseball players -- including Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun and New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez -- whose names appear in the Biogenesis Clinic records, according to Bob Nightengale of USA Today."

Not defending Arod, never will, but he keeps taking the hit for the 103+ dirty players from 2003 and the over 90+ in this mess....

I'm as much a Yankee hater as anyone, but why are we not talking about Buchholz and his assortment of game day gels and lubricants? <This post sponsored by the makers of Brylcreem>

Blame this all on Bud Light, Commisioner of Major League Baseball, PEDS,HGH and Greed, he wanted the stadiums filled and homers, going over the walls and he got it, he is as bad as The Drug Cartel, hey now the owners are getting billions for the sale of their Teams, Tax Payers Building their Ballparks, Media companies partnering for the advertising dollars and he turned a blind eye and wound up in a Gold Mine, Go Figure!!! Maybe he ought to run for President?

We all know ARod is a cheat and lets see the others on the report.

So your giving the owners a free pass on this? Bud was most likely just a stooge, who took all the heat for this while the owners sat in the background and reaped the benefits brought on by the steroid era. IMO, even if Bud tried to stop the PED's, the owners would have kicked him out the door and found another puppet to run the game the way they wanted it run.

I agree, a big article in the last day or two in SI about the mysterious glow to his left forearm and his magically disappearing ERA this year and you don't hear no one talking about "Clay vaseline for mens spokes model Buckholz"??? Seems his two-seamer is moving 3 to 4 inches more then it did last year??? Most of had some intense one on one training this off-season with Mr. Spitball himself, Gaylord Perry... There is a lot of cheating going on in baseball and it is not only the players holding bats in their hands!

Maybe because doctoring a baseball is a practice that's been ongoing in MLB for over a hundred years and most likely still goes on in some form in every game played today.

Hell, baseball doesn't really care... Gaylord Perry cheated and nobody gives a rat's **** about him... They even put him in the HOF... Then there's all the players in the 50s who started using amphetamines, clearly a PED... So, now they're getting their panties all up in a bunch?... What a crock o' ...
