Tim Tebow headed to ESPN or Fox?

09:31 AM ET 05.05 | Does Tim Tebow have a TV future? No doubt the former Heisman Trophy winner, released by the Jets last week, would like to appear in front of a camera playing quarterback in the National Football League. That now is a longshot. The odds of him landing a TV gig as a college football analyst are much better - excellent - if Tebow wants to take the plunge. The way the current cable landscape is setting up makes Tebow the most attractive of candidates. In August, the Foxies will begin an assault on ESPN, launching Fox Sports One, their all-sports cable network. There is no bigger name on the current Fox Sports roster, no bigger new name it could bring to FS1, than Tim Tebow. Fox's college football studio show now consists of Erin Andrews, Eddie George and Joey Harrington. Throw Tebow into the mix and the buzz becomes huge, the sizzle electric. Tebow's loyal flock of eyeballs would follow him, significantly increasing the ratings of a show rarely discussed. The ESPN faculty is aware Tebow could be in play. Word is they believe he will be playing football somewhere this season. If that's not the case they ain't letting Tebow waltz to Fox, or any other outlets (like NBC Sports Network or CBS Sports Network), without pursuing him, big-time.

White suite and a big tent, maybe a bus to live on. That's the only way for Tim.

As long as they do not ask him to play QB, then it could work.

Now if they ask him to be their Tight End, then he really should reconsider.

ONLY IF:
1) He goes to FOX , he must work with Joe Buck.
2) He goes to ESPN, he must work with Skip Bayless.

I'd rather watch and abortion, than watch Tebow, Buck or Bayless.

So what is Tebow going to do ? Lead the views in a prayer service before the game ?

No, he will critique in depth the QB play during the game. As in " Well, I would have tucked the ball under my arm there and run like he##."

You wouldn't want Tebow a self professed virgin to talk about the pleasures of sexual intercourse. So why would you want him to talk about football?

May 5, 2013  12:34 PM ET

Yeah, his lisp and effeminate hand gestures are just what a network needs...

Would it be a sin for him to use the word he//. ? I remember when I was a kid my parents knocking me on the back of the head anytime I would use dam or he// in public, and they weren't even religious.

I'm surprised Seattle hasn't signed Tebow. Didn't he and Percy Harvin use to play together ?

He really should switch positions.
