09:46 AM ET 05.05 | Avery Johnson Jr., the son of ex-Brooklyn coach Avery Johnson, who was fired in December, had some choice words, seemingly directed at the Nets organization, following the team's disappointing 99-93 loss to the Bulls in Game 7 Saturday night. "NETS GO DOWN!!!" Johnson tweeted from the Twitter handle @itsaveryjohnson. "ALL YOU HATERS THINK MY DAD COULDN'T COACH THEM!!! TOO HIGH EXPECTATIONS #HELLO OFSEASON#GONEFISHIN," he wrote. Johnson Jr. was similarly outspoken after his father was fired, venting back in December on Twitter: "This is a f----Outrage. My dad is a great coach, he just got coach of the month and they Fire him. #Smh. Completely new team he had. The expectations were way to high for this team. We didn't even have a losing record...Didin't even give my dad a full season.#OUTRAGE."

And I thought Avery taught his kids to have manners and be classy? Avery is suppose to be religious and always prays. The sons attitude shows a poor reflection of Avery!

When you can't cheer your family's victory I guess you cheer your family's enemy's defeat...

Not much glory in that is there?

I guess so but we also don't know if he does teach them life lessons. It looks like the kids were pretty spoiled and were born w/ a silver spoon...

Anyways, the Nets did make the right choice of firing Avery. Just an overrated coach who micro manages too much.

Maybe it was inappropriate to gloat in the the Nets lost. But his son is 100% correct. AJ wasn't supposed to be fired. He is what that team needed just like MB was what the Lakers needed ultimately needed in the end. It took time to show it.

When AJ was the coach the Nets were winning. So why was he fired?

PJ did a terrible job in Game 4. The way the Nets handled the last 2 mins of that game was all anyone needed to see about this dude's coaching.

AJ may have had his bad moments as a coach, but there is no way he loses that series to the Bulls.

14-14 wasn't winning compared to PJ's 37 wins...

DWill was hurt and wasn't even playing half his self. JJ started REALLY slow; Lopez wasn't even suited up yet. WTF did you expect??

I'm not saying Avery is an elite coach, but to blame him for their 14-14 start is ****.
PJ has been a loser of a coach in the league FOR A REASON.

If he wasn't a Junior, we wouldn't even know who he was.

If Avery was that good a coach than he would have not lost 13 straight w/ the same players that PJ has. Avery is way overrated. He had 3 years to prove tha he could be a good coach for the Nets but he didn't go anywhere w/ them. WTF are you suppose to do when the Nets were going in the wrong direction again w/ Avery? 13 straight loss was going in the wrong direction. They already knew who Avery was and he is not a good coach. PJ's record of 35-19 just proved that he could turn it around. The foundation was set but now the Nets have to start all over again w/ a new coach and a new system...

Haha.

Kid is right and he's kinda funny, but he's still petty. And he's probably not helping his dad get another job.
