06:05 PM ET 05.05 | Despite not playing well in the Thunder's opening round series with the Rockets, the team remains confident that starting center Kendrick Perkins will get it figured out sooner rather than later. Even with the vote of confidence, Perkins continued to struggle in Game 1 against the Grizzlies, scoring just two points on 1-of-6 shooting. He grabbed seven rebounds and also turned the ball over three times. It seems likely the Thunder will continue going with Perkins down low, although he will really need to pick his performance up if OKC hopes to reach the conference finals.

Perkins is just needed for his defense and toughness. Offense was never his forte.
