Jared Allen bringing back the mullet

08:18 PM ET 05.05 | For his wedding back in 2010, Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen cut his mullet. Well, he's bringing it back. Allen, 31, had a drop in production last season while playing with injuries. He had a pair of surgeries on the same day earlier this offseason. Even with the down year last season, he posted double-digit sacks for the seventh time in the last eight years. Many fans credited the mullet for his success and while that's a stupid notion, people love it when things go retro and there's nothing more retro for Jared Allen than his mullet look. Hopefully for the Vikings, the persona the mullet brings helps this new team go back to the glory days of 2009, but only time will tell if that's going to happen. Bottom line is, Jared Allen is business up front, party in the backfield.
