07:14 AM ET 05.06 | Blues coach Ken Hitchcock sure knows how to send a message. As [Hitchcock] left his news conference after Saturday's 1-0 loss to Los Angeles, he walked by rookie forward Vladimir Tarasenko, who's been a healthy scratch in the first three games of the playoff series. "Get ready to play," Hitchcock told Tarasenko. Whether Tarasenko will make his NHL playoff debut in Game 4 tonight, or later in the series, was still uncertain after Sunday's practice. One day after the Blues were shut out by the Kings, Hitchcock wouldn't commit to returning Tarasenko to the lineup. "I haven't gotten that far yet," Hitchcock said. "That's (Monday's) decision."

Not like the Blues were lighting it up in the first two games...

May 6, 2013  08:48 AM ET

Are the Kings playing that good or are the Blues playing that bad?

May 6, 2013  08:50 AM ET

When this series is over, I am not sure how much the winner will have left in the tank to make a deep run

Let's go with the Kings playing great.... I like the sound of that better

It looks like it's going to come down to the goalies as to who wins this series.

That could be true. Great series, lots of hitting, great goaltending by both Quick and Elliott. I believe we are going to see a few more 1 goal games in this one.

And it's far from broke..

Great series.

Love the two Quick lapses.

Love the hitting.

Blues are the best defensive team this league has seen since Les Slanders were. The Hitch should let Berglund and Backes take some shooting practice though, and Steen should start taking some time - he could 've had eight goals in game 1 alone. LA's in tough this time. Hope they don't have their version of the Mounde Royale massacree - tee,hee - who knew smurfs could...

Both.

Not sure how St Louise is playing poorly up 2-1 in games?

There must be another St Louise- LA series that I'm not seeing.

If the Blues had a goal scorer it would be a rout.

And in other earth shattering news, the Kings and Ducks will be playing an outdoor game at Dodger Stadium...

Dodger fans will actually get to see some hitting!

I was thinking the same thing. Tons of chances; could not bury them.

Agreed. It's not like either team in this series is piling up goals.

It's my favourite series. No prisoners being taken.
