03:52 PM ET 05.06 | Not long after the team's elimination from the postseason, Atlanta Hawks forward Kyle Korver said on Saturday that the team has shown interest in retaining his services next season. An unrestricted free agent this summer, Korver should attract heavy interest from the league given his status as an elite shooter, but the Hawks appear to have a step up. "I really enjoyed my year here in Atlanta. I enjoyed the team. I enjoyed the organization. I believe Danny Ferry is going to do some great things here. I think he has a great opportunity to bring in guys who are going to play fun basketball," Korver said. The 10-year veteran started a career-high 60 games for Atlanta this season, averaging 10.9 points per game while shooting 46 percent from beyond the arc.

He's a solid guy. Great shooter to come off the bench -- makes a lot of his own shots off screens.

It's definitely about money for him. I don't understand why he would want to stay on an ATL team that is (and has been for many years) going nowhere...very slowly.

The Heat could replace Millet with Korver. Korver could also help the Lakers if Howard stays.

That's what people keep saying about the Cowboys starting QB for the past 10 yrs.

There is an outside chance that Howard might come. A very very slim chance, but one can only hope.

The BIGGEST thing that Ferry has already done, is to dump our misfortune on to the Nets, and the Jazz. Smith is done too, so we have a chance to start clean. Al and Lou are the only commitments we have. I won't mind Krover and Teague at reasonable prices. But we do need a true center and a real starting PG. Teague doesn't fit that bill.
