06:39 PM ET 05.06 | Last offseason, Mario Williams left the Houston Texans to sign a $100 million contract with the Buffalo Bills. Since then, he's also left his ex-fiance and is reportedly asking for the expensive engagement ring back. The Houston Chronicle reports that according to attorneys, Williams' ex, Erin Marzouki, never intended to marry him and was only using the relationship as a means of financial gain. According to reports, the engagement ring that Williams gave to Marzouki was valued around $785,000 and was about 1 percent of Williams' $50 million guaranteed contract with the Bills. The lawsuit filed by Williams illustrates more incidents where Marzouki was seeking gifts and financial gain, as after he proposed to her the defensive end forked over an American Express card, which is something any guy will tell you is a giant no-no.

Any dude stupid enough to spend $785K on an engagement ring deserves to lose his money.

I wouldn't put her at the top of the "hot" list, either, at least not from her picture. Maybe she has other skills we don't know about.

Say a prayer that my wife doesn't see this, but there isn't a woman on the planet that's worth a $785,000 engagement ring.

And now we understand why he's no longer in Houston.

Giselle? If there's an exception to your rule, it's got to be a supermodel who makes more than a top-ranked starting NFL quarterback.

I hope he's not paying his lawyer by the hour on this one - it's a loser of a case. If he is, he's an even bigger idiot than he's already proven.
