Jaguars sign Marcus Trufant

03:41 PM ET 05.07 | The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed veteran cornerback Marcus Trufant, according to Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed at this moment. Trufant, 32, was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in 2003 and spent his entire career with the team. He made the Pro Bowl and All-Pro team in 2007. Trufant's role with the team was shrinking in recent years as age and injuries caught up with him. He played just 16 games in the past two seasons. Trufant's skills have been declining, but he's familiar with coach Gus Bradley's system and will be a veteran presence to a young secondary. He will compete for playing time with Dwayne Gratz, Alan Ball and Mike Harris.
