Warriors leaving Parker alone to shoot (and miss)

06:59 AM ET 05.09 | The looks have been there for Spurs point guard Tony Parker, even before Klay Thompson fouled out of Game 1. True, a bigger longer defender does take away some things, such as the teardrop shot Parker tried to claim a copyright on after Wednesday morning's shootaround. But there were still points to be had against the Golden State defense, Parker says, if one knew where to find them. The mid-range jumper off the pick-and-roll -- which has become an integral part of Parker's arsenal over the past several seasons, was one of them. "I have to make jump shots," Parker said. "They're going to leave me open. I'm going to get 20 shots, Timmy (Duncan) is going to get 20 shots. That's what they're giving us."

Parker is no Klay Thompson

Lets be honest. The first game SA won because GS choked in the end. They were up 16 points. The second game GS just took care of business. So GS could be up 2-0. Now they are heading home.

So the only chance GS loses this, is if their youth and inexperience makes them collapse but they for sure are the best team so far and is running around the old 3 amigos.

GSW should be up 2-0 instead of 1-1.

The match ups are going to be hard for the Spurs. Mismatches down low with Parker guarding Klay and Barnes is a huge problem. Spurs are looking are looking old, but that system is still very impressive.

Spurs are definitely going to have to shoot better. 42% in game 1 and 38% in game 2. This isn't going to cut it, no matter who you are playing. Tony needs to step up.

The focus has been on stopping the outside 3s by GS (which is important), but better rebounding will help the Spurs. Duncan should be back to 100% from the flu and Splitter is getting there.

The Spurs are on the road, so a win will be a steal. It will be tough.
