10:31 PM ET 05.09 | Charles Woodson is still a free agent after visiting with just one team this offseason. During an interview on NFL Network, he said he was surprised at the lack of interest from teams around the league. The San Francisco 49ers remain the only team he has talked with to this point. Woodson will turn 37 later this year. He still has the ability to bring veteran leadership to any team.

We love you here in Wisconsin C-Wood but you're 37, couldn't make any plays last year, got burned repeatedly, couldn't wrap up anymore, and you couldn't stay healthy. There's no shame in hanging 'em up. You'll be in Canton no doubt some day and you'd make a great announcer. God's Speed Charles, but don't be surprised at the lack of offers. I'd offer you a job as DB Coach in a heartbeat though.

No team will sign him until they have given every new player a chance to make their teams. Don't expect to see him signed till August.

I agree, someone will sign him by the end of the NFL preseason, just watch.

Offer a veteran minimum incentive laden contract and the calls will come!

Come on JJ get him over here....

Woodson is still available and the so deep, talent laden all pro packed secondary of my 4-12 great Detroit Lions have not given this guy a call...Way to Lions great job of continuing the great history of front office ineptitude.

You got it. Leadershhip is a nice intangible but without game-time skills anymore it's not worth a roster spot.

What purpose would that serve? So he could finish his career by going 2-14? Why?

Hard to let go of something you love so much. Especially when you believe you have alot left to offer. The problem is his age, and his nagging injuries at this point of his career. He will play for someone who has injuries in the secondary.
