07:23 AM ET 05.10 | Clint Trickett is off the board and ticketed for West Virginia. On Thursday, Oklahoma State quarterback Wes Lunt announced he was leaving the program after throwing for 1,108 yards and six touchdowns with seven interceptions as a true freshman in 2012. The big-time prospect will have some programs tripping over each other to get him on campus, but Auburn appears to be comfortable with its incoming haul of junior college transfer Nick Marshall, and in-state freshmen Jeremy Johnson and Jason Smith. ... "We're still working through all that," Malzahn said Thursday. "But we feel good about the plan with everybody coming on board." Kiehl Frazier and Jonathan Wallace competed for the starting job in spring practices.

...and regarding the topic, the QB carousel goes round and round, round and round..........

Not a surprise. Auburn had their best year ever with a transfer QB. Maybe that's Gus's formula.

This is an absolutely assinine article. The headlines asks "Is Malzahn looking for a QB transfer?" and the first thing that is discussed is the fact the fact that Malzahn says he confortable with the five QBs Auburn already has. What's the point? They have a JUCO QB (Marshall) coming in and their QB of the future (Johnson).

So, I'd say the answer to the headline is "no".

He prob would be the best of the lot, however. After all the 2nd rate QB threads, this is the one that should grab the attention. This kid will be very good.

Not questioning whether or not he's a decent QB. Just that Auburn will have five QBs competing for the job this fall and Malzahn doens't seem interested in another one.

I know, and not to knock the current group there. This kid was named the starter out of his first week of school, and was really looking good until the injury. Shame that it put him behind another great fresh as he was rehabbing.

After a year of sitting out for transfer and rehab, he'll make someone a great one.

and he's a steal at only $75,000!
