10:30 PM ET 05.10 | Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Kyle Williams had surgery on his right Achilles tendon, leaving him unable to participate in offseason activities, the team announced. The surgery was to repair a frayed tendon, not a torn one, and the timeline given by the team indicates that he would be ready well in time for the 2013 season. The surgery took place in mid-February and has an estimated five-month recovery time. Williams had a similar procedure on his left foot in the 2012 offseason. His timely return would mean a great deal to the team.
