10:11 PM ET 05.10 | Dallas Cowboys fifth-round selection Joseph Randle is missing out on much of the action at the team's offseason activities, reports Cowboys Corner. The team was aware the rookie running back would be unavailable when they drafted him. With his hand in a cast, Randle is absent from the on-field action, though team owner Jerry Jones stressed there was still a great deal Randle could do to mentally prepare for the upcoming season. The Oklahoma State standout was expected to be drafted well before the fifth round, and the Cowboys are expecting him to serve as the primary backup to DeMarco Murray. Murray has a history of injury, missing six games in the 2012 season, meaning a role as his backup is likely to be a big one.

Well, he could get a jump-start on other important NFL rookie tasks such as getting tattoos, getting DUIs, and beating strippers.
