03:39 PM ET 05.11 | There was a lot of excitement from a number of players on the Chicago Bears roster once the team hired former Montreal Alouettes head coach Marc Trestman. As soon as the players got a look at his offensive playbook, they couldn't wait to get on the field and see his innovative offense. Now that we have our first glimpse of players running Trestman's offense in the rookie minicamp, we can see that his innovation is not just in the playbook, but also in the way the team practices. Trestman has used helmet cams to help assess the quarterbacks.

OK, but the cam shows you the area he is looking, not what he is looking at or what it means to him. Might be smarter to put a cam in Peyton Manning helmet and learn from him.

Clear sign that you might have the wrong guy under center...

This could get ugly, not sure it is a good idea. Imagine if Sanchez had one on , what would you see? The centers butt as he charges it and tries to ram his head up it? What about the children?

He may not look like a typical head coach, but he did a helluva job in Mtl. Gonna be interesting to see what he does in Chicago.

So when the helmet cam shows Cutler staring at the honey in the fifth row during the game, what does that tell the coach?

if Jay Cutler is still his starting QB behind that horridly offensive O-Line, it wont be interesting for long.

I was thinking the Cutler-Cam might be just the thing for watching the landing gear of planes going into O'Hare.
