09:14 AM ET 05.12 | Marlins players like how manager Mike Redmond has handled the team, including the fact that he hasn't loudly admonished them at all. "Everything has been positive," reliever Mike Dunn said. "He hasn't yelled. He's not going to embarrass a guy. He talks to guys individually. He has everyone's back." Redmond said there's no need to yell "because I've been so happy with guys' effort and attitude."

There's no need to yell because there's no point in yelling. This team sucks. They can try as hard as they want, but there's a little thing called talent that's missing from the roster.

Most of the players that are on the Marlins roster are career Triple A players at best with no chance of seeing the big show.

Whats not to be happy about? The are on a pace to win 47 games, the owner makes some big bucks and a lovely new stadium? Livin' the dream.

Can't say same about Terry Collins!!!

Redmond may have the players' backs but Loria doesn't have Redmond's back.

This too will end in sadness and frustration.

Yup...just waitin' on that revenue sharing payout.

Even some of greatest managers in MLB history would not win consistently with the talent in Miami. Redmond isn't costing Loria that much. He should give RedmondA couple of more years. If Loria would get some more talent for Redmond to work with then Redmond could be better evaluated. Changing managers every year isn't going to produce a competative teamLoria Needs to pry some of those moldy cash out of his wallet and fuse in some talent. Until the marlins can be competative the Marlins, will continue to play in an empty stadium.

Loria fleeced the taxpayers to build the Marlins their new stadium, claiming the new stadium would create revenue so the Marlins Could pay higher salaries to attract better talent. Loria has not lived up to his end of bargain. Taxpayers should reposses stadium and evict Loria.
