04:58 PM ET 05.12 | The New York Giants have signed former Seahawks and Raiders linebacker Aaron Curry to a one year contract. Curry, who was the fourth overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, has not had the career that most envisioned. He was traded out of Seattle after only two-plus seasons with the team, and played only two games in 2012 due to knee issues. He may not have a great shot of making the team after training camp, but it's a low risk, high reward move for the Giants. Curry is, after all, still only 27 years old.

I remember when Aaron Curry was drafted... he was considered the safest pick in the draft, the one guy who there was no chance would be a bust.

No such thing as a safe pick.

Aaron Curry was taken #4 overall.

Brian Cushing and Clay Matthews were still on the board.

The player about whom I remember them saying that the most, was Megatron, 2007 draft. Turns out they were right. And they had similar sentiments about #1 and #2 last year.
