05:36 PM ET 05.12 | Oakland Raiders fourth-round draft pick Tyler Wilson is not here just to ride the bench. The young man has come to practice ready to play, and is making the most of his opportunity. CSN Bay Area's Paul Gutierrez reported that Wilson threw a "hard and accurate ball," while head coach Dennis Allen lauded his rookie. "Obviously, picking up a new system, there's a little bit of rust there," Allen told the San Jose Mercury News. "But throwing the ball, he's done a nice job. I don't have any question about his arm strength and his accuracy." Could Wilson possibly beat out Terrelle Pryor and Matt Flynn for the starting job? Remember he was the projected first overall selection in mock draft done last year. In his senior year at Arkansas, Wilson completed 249/401 passes for 3,387 yards, 21 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.

I'll bet Flynn will never watch Castaway again if for the 2nd year in a row loses a QB competition to a mid round pick named Wilson

And on the lighter side it's been over 24 hours without a Titus Young arrest ....maybe he's reformed

And it's nothing to do with his talent, just bad timing - wrong place, wrong time

Me thinks they start Pryor, find out he sucks, go with Flynn for a few then start Wilson once they get eliminated from playoffs.......around Thanks Giving.

No, I think at that point, it does have SOMETHING to do with his talent
