Luol Deng still struggling after spinal tap complications, doubtful for Game 4 vs. Heat

11:12 PM ET 05.12 | Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau continues to call All-Star forward Luol Deng "day-to-day," but Deng is still really struggling following complications from a spinal tap procedure. Deng tried to practice over the weekend, but he was unable to get through it. "I did some individual work (Saturday) and I started throwing up a little bit. I couldn't finish the workout," Deng said. "I tried to practice (Sunday) and the same thing. I just warmed up and couldn't get through practice. My body, my system is not reacting well to anything I'm doing right now." It seems almost certain that Deng will not play in Game 4 against the Heat on Monday, and it's looking doubtful that he plays at all the rest of the series. However, Deng has talked to Thibodeau about possibly giving "five or 10 minutes or whatever" in order to give the rest of the short-handed Bulls a bit of a break.

Really sad to see Deng sidelined. I do think his presence could have altered the series (somewhat).
