12:06 AM ET 05.13 | Pacers power forward David West has established himself as a key cog in a starting lineup that has proven to be one of the most consistent in the NBA. The 32-year-old big man averaged 17.1 points and 7.7 rebounds in the second year of a two-year deal that is paying him $10 million this season. While West and the Pacers are focusing on their second-round series against the Knicks, it's hard to completely ignore the big man's impending free agency. West says that he's unsure how the situation will play out, but he will address it at the end of the season. "I don't know," he said. "I haven't given it much thought. Just trying to make sure I focus on finishing this year as well as we can. I'll just deal with all that when it's time to deal with it. When it's on the table, we'll eat." West did say that he loves the core group the Pacers have in place, and that they are a good fit with him. Indiana certainly wants him back, so expect both parties to do what they can to get a new deal done when the time comes.

2-1 in the series and journalists think that's the perfect time to question about free agency! Morons.
