12:43 AM ET 05.13 | After Warriors guard Stephen Curry sprained his left ankle in a Game 3 loss to the Spurs on Friday, he needed to turn to somebody for advice. On Mother's Day weekend, Curry naturally went to his mom, Sonya. "She's not here, but she's my voice of reason," Curry said. "I tried to vent my frustration because it seems like every time you get on a roll and feel somewhat healthy there's a setback." Curry's ankle was badly swollen prior to Sunday's Game 4, and he needed an anti-inflammatory shot to deal with the swelling and pain. The Warriors' star admitted to coach Mark Jackson before the game that he was really hurting, but that he wanted to play and give everything he had. Curry gutted out 38 minutes in Golden State's 97-87 overtime victory over San Antonio, scoring 22 points in the process. And to top it all off, Curry remembered to send his mom two dozen red roses.

Curry's mum needs to talk to Rose's mum with a guard around to make sure Delonte is not lurking.

I think we need to include DLee's Mom in this discussion!

Would that mean that everybody else's mother from the Spurs didn't encourage their sons because they lost?
