07:17 AM ET 05.13 | Success has a way of breeding success, particularly at the nation's storied programs -- which may be bad news for Michigan State. The tides have shifted in favor of the Michigan Wolverines when it comes to in-state recruiting, and the events of the past few weeks hammer that point home. First, one-time Michigan State commitment Drake Harris, a four-star wide receiver, picked the Wolverines after reopening his commitment several weeks ago. Now, just this past weekend, the Wolverines pulled in a verbal from Lawrence Marshall, long thought to be a heavy Michigan State lean. ... While all programs have attrition, U-M seems to be back down to reasonable levels of it, which should help bolster depth all across the roster.

First up.

Isn't Big Brother always supposed to be first? Causes family feuds when Little Brother upstages Big Brother. Causes a cataclysmic meltdown when Little Sister of the Poor upstages both!

I hate to see fine young men fall for the delusion that they will be better off in Ann Arbor than in East Lansing.

Hang in there DS, MSU will be just fine.

Of course they will, especially with that 'leg-up' program they have to haul in kids like Plaxico Burress, I don't think Michigan has a special needs program like that and thus are out of the competition for those athletes.

Typical wal-mart wolverine response. Neither original nor funny. Pathetic how the so called fans of TSIAA (that school in Ann Arbor) have to attack others to feel good about themselves.
