Tony Parker hopes to feel better for Game 5

03:15 PM ET 05.13 | While Warriors point guard Stephen Curry was hindered by a tender ankle, Spurs point guard Tony Parker played through Sunday's Game 4 with a calf bruise that similarly limited his movement. As Curry went from playmaker to spot-up shooter, Parker still conducted his usual point guard role, but he clearly wasn't the same. The Frenchman shot 6-for-17 from the field and scored 17 points to go with just three assists, and the Spurs lost as the offense went ice-cold down the stretch. Parker is only hoping the swelling goes down before a tie-breaking opportunity in Game 5. ???I felt like I was limited a little bit, but nobody cares,??? he said. ???It's the playoffs. You have to keep playing. I just didn't have my normal lift for my jump shots and penetrate. Hopefully I'll keep doing my normal treatments and I'll feel better.???

TP needs to tighten up his defense. The Spurs can't win if he is going to let G.S. backup PG out score him.

But Pop has some blame too, why is TP guarding the fresh guy and then running around 3 screens on offense.

Pop needs to keep the guards matched up properly with his dumb a.s.s.

Great series, looking forward to all seven of them!

Hopefully he doesn't have the same kind of calf bruise that Kirk Hinrich has...

Although I want the Warriors to win, seeing the Spurs unravel and lose their lead was unexpected with a heavily injured squad in the GSW.

Parker did his best. It was another grind it out game, with both teams shooting in the 30% range. Hopefully, TP will be back at near full strength on Tuesday.

Manu is jacking up too many bricks, that too very early in the shot clock. OK he does make the occasional game tying 3 or game winning 3, but that he takes way too many bad shots. The defense can't even react to those shots and recover.

Sure looked better to me. 25 and10 from Parker in an easy Spurs win.

Have you not watched Ginobili ever during his career? That's what he ALWAYS does. He's the classic Jekyll/Hyde.
