03:57 PM ET 05.13 | Los Angeles Lakers assistant coach Steve Clifford will reportedly interview for the Milwaukee Bucks' head coaching vacancy after the team parted ways with interim boss Jim Boylan. A defensive specialist who could be a candidate for the Charlotte Bobcats' opening as well, Clifford joined the Lakers in 2012 as part of Mike Brown's coaching staff. He was expected to remain with the team next season under Mike D'Antoni, but he's receiving enough support around the league to garner interest from the NBA squads with holes to plug. Clifford spent five years under Stan Van Gundy's Orlando Magic staff and was recommended to the Bucks by Van Gundy, who declined the interview himself. Clifford has also coached with Stan's brother, Jeff Van Gundy, and current Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau.
