02:51 PM ET 05.15 | In a somewhat surprising move, UCLA Bruins guard and projected lottery pick Shabazz Muhammad will hire Bill Duffy of BDA Sports Management as his representation. All indications were that Muhammad would sign on with Wasserman Media Group, but it appears he's going in another direction. By beating out Wasserman Group, one of the largest representation agencies in basketball, Duffy lands a major prospect to bolster his client list. Muhammad is considered one of the best young players in the 2013 draft class, a probable lottery pick and the kind of scorer who could demand some sizable contracts as the next level. NBA players currently represented by Duffy include Boston's Rajon Rondo, Golden State's Klay Thompson and the L.A. Lakers' Steve Nash.
