Star TCU DE Fields suspended for two games, including LSU

06:46 PM ET 05.15 | For the second straight season, a key TCU player will miss playing time with disciplinary issues: star defensive end Devonte Fields will miss the team's first two games of the season for violating team rules, including a key matchup with LSU.

Fields was the Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year last year after recording 10 sacks, earning first-team all-conference honors. Without their top defensive player, TCU won't have as much going for them against an LSU team that should be one of the nation's elite squads.

Four Horned Frogs players were kicked off the team in the 2012 offseason in part of a drug bust that implicated 17 TCU students, and star quarterback Casey Pachall, who failed drug tests prior to the busts, left the team to seek treatment after picking up a DWI. Pachall is back on the team after having dealt with his issues.

Don't know, just read about it 30 minutes ago. %$#@*& But for whatever reason, GP has been on his case all Spring. I suspect this may have had something to do with it.
