03:46 AM ET 05.16 | Joe Webb was the guy Vikings fans wanted as their stating quarterback, but after an embarrassing performance in the NFC Wild Card Round this past January, the Minnesota Vikings have moved Webb to wide receiver, per a report from Sid Hartman and the Star Tribune. Football fandom is a strange and wild beast. Take Joe Webb's stance and journey with the Minnesota Vikings and their fans as a classic example of little brother not knowing as much as they think. When Christian Ponder struggled in the last two season, fans were clamoring for backup Joe Webb to assume the starting role and lead the team. But when Webb was put in during the Vikings' Wild Card game against the Green Bay Packers, fans got to see just how awful of a quarterback Webb really is. Now instead of replacing Ponder, Webb will be on the receiving end of his possible 2013 success.

Good move...he'll play with a chip on his shoulder.

Another reason for Viking fans to be glad they have Adrian Peterson.

Next they'll tell him to move out a bit more, past the line on the side of the field.
