Price's troubling season takes turn for worse

07:10 AM ET 05.16 | What a difference a year makes for David Price, who by this time last year was 6-2. The potty-mouthed, Price-baiting umpire was one thing. The allergies (allergies?), rash and blurred vision are another. But [Price's] nightmare Cy Young follow-up has a new twist: a pitch, a grimace, then Price strolling from the mound Wednesday in the third inning of a game he was already losing to the Red Sox, 2-0, and the Rays would drop, like a rock, 9-2. Just when you thought it couldn't get worse ... This time, it was left triceps tightness. That's in the arm. The left-hander didn't bother trying to throw a practice pitch. He knew. How can this be good?

That's much more serious than triceps tightness in the leg....

From the Penthouse to the basement in less than 4 months after receiving your award and a bad time to do it on your free agent year coming up. Stop blaming the umps, rasp on the rump, stiffness in the arm, take the blame for your bad start and go out there and do what you do best, just pitch and get batters out and stop complaining.

Problem is that he can't "just pitch and get batters out" right now. So, on one hand you might be right. i.e., "stop compalining" but on the other hand "What's a poor boy gonna do ... ?"

Yup. The tricep is the muscle on the back side of the upper arm.
