10:10 AM ET 05.16 | The Pittsburgh Pirates released pitcher Jonathan Sanchez after his struggles on the mound that included an 11.85 ERA, but it hasn't taken long for him to find a new home. Sanchez will be making the journey to the West Coast where he will join the Los Angeles Dodgers pending a physical. Sanchez is expected to be sent to the team's Triple-A affiliate in Albuquerque. He will have until July 1 to be promoted to the Dodgers big league roster or an opt-out clause will be activated that allows him to be released.

Strange how a guy can lose it so fast. In 2010, he earned that ring quite handsomely...

May 16, 2013  09:45 PM ET

Lose what? He's a 30 year old bum who's 39-58 with a career 4.70 ERA. Not exactly awe inspiring statistics.

2010 was his only decent year. Plenty of guys have had a decent year in MLB history.
