10:53 AM ET 05.19 | Just when you thought Donte Stallworth's legal issues were behind him, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) "rolled up" on the embattled NFL wide receiver this weekend. The 32-year-old took to Twitter with claims he was accosted by CIA officials while snapping a photo outside the agency's headquarters in Langley, Virginia. "I came eerily close to being sent to Guantanamo Bay," Stallworth said. "Y'all think I'm joking? They rolled right up on me and I hadn't been there for more than 2 minutes, tops." Stallworth, who had a brief comeback stint with the New England Patriots last season, said U.S. officials questioned him about the photos and his intentions outside the complex.

Plead guilty to DUI manslaughter. Doesn't go to prison because he's able to pay off the family. Not a person I really want to hear complaining.

Especially when he's complaining on Twitter.

The dude is under the mistaken impression that this is some kind of free country or something.

He's also under the impression that he's somebody important. You don't go to Guantanamo Bay for snapping pictures. What a self aggrandizing idiot.

Now, if Donte had observed other photogs outside CIA headquarters who were not "accosted," that might be cause for concern, resentment. He can't not be aware of the state of caution under which we all live, especially those associated with government facilities, in these uncertain times. It may have no connection but this story does put Mr. Stallworth back on people's radars, for however briefly and for curious cause, including those of NFL coaches & GMs.

Gotta ask Mel... Did you see the R&R Hall Of Fame Induction?

1st mistake he made was taking a pic outside a government agency.. he should know better than that.. he ain't that stupid.. 2nd.. coming out and saying he was close to being sent to Guantanamo.. they only send people who are enemy combatants of the US there.. he's only a has-been receiver who still should be in prison for killing someone when he got behind the wheel of a car drunk

I didn't see what HBO showed last night, but I've seen some clips on YouTube over the past few weeks. Alex Lifeson's speech was obviously a highlight.

Blah!

The part where he mimes writing the speech, and then pulls the paper out of his pocket (Blah BLAH Blah, blah blah...)... I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

Kudos to Mr. Lifeson for selling that so completely.

Two employees were shot and killed, others injured at that very entrance where Stallworth was taking pictures. Wrong place, wrong time. It's a recurring issue for him. If he was in D.C. for a look by the Redskins, I think he can kiss that chance goodbye.
