06:58 AM ET 05.20 | So much for Vegas, baby. Is Rob Gronkowski being told to curb his enthusiasm, again? Last winter, after the hard-partying Patriots tight end was seen wrestling in Las Vegas -- with a broken forearm -- many believe he was told by team officials to calm down. ... Well, last week we noticed that an entity called JumpSeat was offering fans a chance to fly to Las Vegas with Gronkowski in a private jet -- for a mere $40,000. ... But just as we were getting excited about the prospect of hitting the mile-high minibar with Gronk, the company pulled the plug. "Hey Folks," tweeted @JumpSeatMe. "Sorry ???bout the disappointment, but the Gronk trip is not happening. He is staying home relaxing."

If he doesn't "Curb his enthusiasm", something tells me the Hoodie will be kicking him to the "curb"

Fly to Vegas with Gronk for $40K and people are mad because RGIII got wedding gifts ??

Gronk just doesn't get it. His time, healthy or not, in New England is very limited.

He's probably glad the press follows Gronk around and leaves Brady alone.

I don't care what he does with his free time in the offseason. But, I do care that he doesn't seem to be focused on rehabbing the series of injuries that threaten to make him Just Another Guy who was very talented but had his career cut short for health reasons.

You are kidding, right?

Trailing Brady and Bunchen is a cottage industry. The paparazzi are practically camped outside wherever one or both of them happen to be residing, dining, walking, playing with their children, working out or doing whatever else fills their busy lives.

They have just learned to handle it properly; never doing anything dumb, never saying anything and always giving the media a couple of good photo ops so they keep their distance.

At the same time, what good is Gronk with his enthusiasm curbed? Without it, he's just another useless "Friendly Giant."

Who would spend $40,000 for that? That's the kind of money you spend to take a year-long trip around the world. For forty grand you can summit Everest or do any number of other things that would be a highlight of your life. Why would you spend 40k to party with a clueless dude like Gronk?

Didn't y'all hear about the charity event the Patriots hosted at Newtown, CT on Saturday? The line about Gronk throwing passes to Newtown kids while Robert Kraft played DB? That's why he canceled his Vegas junket - that came together and he wanted to be there.

Because it would be the time of your life.

Good for Gronk. I love that guy. Wish he was my college buddy.....never a dull night with him. The E60 interview/story with him was priceless. The part in the grocery store was the best.

Well, I sure have curbed my enthusiasm for any Gronk and his arm stories.

Gronk angry, Gronk smash

Hmm. I had some pretty wild times when I was young, and I'm pretty sure partying with Gronk in Vegas wouldn't top them.

Anyone who has more money than they know what to do with. Especially if they were born into it.

Apparently, you don't have that problem.
