Garrett digging in against Jerry

07:01 AM ET 05.20 | Are we seeing a brand new, more feisty Jason Garrett? [It's] already been an under-siege, looooooooong off-season for Garrett, who has obviously become the favorite whipping boy for owner Jerry Jones. We all know Jerry is not going to blame himself for what's been continually wrong with the Cowboys. ... Garrett, however, is not backing off or backing down. The ongoing drill of late has been Jerry making pointed comments, and in a subtle way, aiming those at Garrett. Then we wait a day or a week, and Garrett answers, in also a subtle way, shooting down everything Jerry had to say. ... If this is Garrett's last stand at Valley Ranch, he seems determined to make his stand, not Jerry's.

Garrett digging in against Jerry

One can only hope so.

If Garrett is going to dig IN with Jerry, something tells me they're going to have to dig UP Garrett afterwards.

It's a Monday with our pointless CryBoys Post of the Day. Team will still fail and underachieve. Jerry will blame everyone else than himself for taking too many hats and screwing up. Cowboy fans will forget Jerry called this team better than the Jimmy Johnson/Aikman/Smith/Irving/Sanders years. And Jerry will announce some big pointless thing after another failure of a season how the team will win the Super Bowl this year in some grand fashion as all the Sports News Outlets report everything at CryBoy Camp even when someone sneezes saying that sneeze is a sign the Cryboys will do something this year!

Back it up or shut up Jerry. Really just shut up.

He might just as well, if he does it his way or Jerry's way he will be judged on one thing: Make the playoffs you come back next year. Miss them again and you are gone. He has reached the life span of a JJ Head coach.

This will be Garrett's last season.

I read just about everything written about the Cowboys every day, and I can tell you their just making this bull up. A half wit "journalist" trying to find something to stir the pot. Take anything said and try to bend and twist it into a controversy.

The only way he'll get a decent job after Jerry fires him after this year would be to show some stones and tell Jerry what he really thinks. No way he gets fired during the season so basically he's got a free run. IF the Cowboys happen to have a decent year and make the playoffs Jerry might take his thumb off the launch button.

This will be Garrett's last season.

It could be his last half-season. When the owner/GM is on you in May, it's not a sign that he's going to take a wait-and-see approach.

Hail to the Redskins!

You know they have to give the Cowboy haters their daily fill. At least the haters are consistent. They moan whether the Cowboys are good or bad, win or lose.

That's just it. When you've been 8-8 for the last two seasons, you're neither good nor bad.

The inability of the Republicans to find a good candidate is the reason we've got such non-leadership in Washington now.

Two words. Libertarian Anarchy.

Jimmy Johnson won back-to-back Super Bowls and Jerry still got rid of him when they couldn't get along. Jason Garrett has done no better than finish 3rd in the division. This won't end well for Mr. Garrett.

Garrett on JJ: "What's he gonna do? Send me to Vietnam?"

Unfortunately, some things never change.
