04:58 PM ET 05.20 | After reports leaked that Greg Oden has looked amazing during his rehabilitation workouts, NBA teams and scouts have been clamoring to get a peek at the progress of the former overall number one pick. One such team would be the Boston Celtics, who has interest in the former Portland Trail Blazer, though at the moment it's only mild. Oden hasn't played in the NBA since the 2009-10 season and only averaged 21 minutes a game when he did. But everybody likes to strike gold and when it comes to available lotto tickets, few have more potential outside of Oden who put up 11 points and 8.5 rebounds in those aforementioned 21 minutes a game.

He needs to go somewhere where much is not expected of him.

Only way he goes to Celts is if they offer more than the veteran minimum.

If most teams offer this, he ends up in Miami.

Would be interesting to see Miami sign him and retain Birdman because what was a "small" team would now have a bit of beef on the interior that is better than the likes of Pittman and Anthony...

LOL

Would be nice for Oden to be under the tuteledge of Kevin Garnett.

I hope everything work out for him; he has been through a lot due to injuries and nothing of his fault. A once promising career dashed by injuries.

Well.....he's still just 25 years old; and now, he's (apparently) healed.

And just when I thought that Greg became irrelevant , POW, he's back on the block. What be nice would be if he gave the Trailblazer a discount and joined them to make up for the NOTHING he gave them the past few year when they stuck by him!
