05:01 PM ET 05.20 | The rumors and speculation have been swirling all season that this could be Jose Mourinho's last at the Bernabeu. And now Real Madrid has formally announced that Jose Mourinho will not be back next season. "We've decided to bring our relationship to an end," said Real Madrid President Florentino Perez. "Nobody's been sacked, it's a mutual agreement." Real Madrid has fallen short of winning a trophy this year. They are 13 points behind Barcelona in La Liga, lost to their cross town rivals Atletico in the Copa Del Rey, and fell to Borussia Dortmund just short of the Champions League final.

Good Riddance. All the hardcore Real fans will now become softcore Getafe fans. I just don't understand why Mourinhio would leave Real to take a job with Getafe. If he wanted to live in the suburbs he could have just moved out of downtown a little bit. I mean why not just hire a driver to drive you from your house to Real's training grounds? Seems needless to me.
