07:00 AM ET 05.21 | Mario Williams had his chance to talk Monday, and he let out a sigh when he stepped to the lectern in Buffalo. [He] then answered every question asked about an unbecoming feud with his ex-fiancee. Williams didn't deny he sent texts her lawyer made public Friday, but insisted he never has had suicidal thoughts and takes only medications prescribed by and dispensed by the Buffalo Bills. "It's blown out of proportion," Williams said. "It's completely out of context." Erin Marzouki's attorney, Tony Buzbee, released a series of texts allegedly from Williams to Marzouki. In the texts, Williams told her he was taking narcotics without anyone's knowledge and suggested he was having suicidal thoughts.

Not good.

The Bills might be better off with Ike Davis, first of all he has Experience playing in Buffalo, secondly, he can't play baseball, but he knows how to Obstruct!!!

It's a shame. This woman did a job on his head. He might need some help other than what the Buffalo Bills can give him.

Women can definitely take control of your heart if you let them. Man up bruh.

No, it couldn't be the press blowing things up or trying to stir the crap. They wouldn't do that.

On the flip side, the NFL has had a lot of players who would prefer to choke the "ex" just for starters.

Mario, she did you a favor. She squeezed $340,000 out of you in gifts over a 12 month period and a ring worth $785,000. You got off cheap, if she had married you she would take half of that $50 million in guaranteed money you have coming just for starters.

Let it go and move on....

Mario, you got paid. It's okay to admit it. There are millions of us out there and it's nothing to be ashamed of. You get you help. You take your meds and life can be pretty damn good.

The fiancee is no bother, he's just depressed after realizing he signed with the Bills last year.

May 21, 2013  10:31 AM ET

I guess it evens out. Mario has taken a lot of gift money considering the way he has played these last few years. She got some gift money for a lousy performance. Only difference is she has a ring and Mario does not.

Maybe he is suffering depression from the deep guilt within, knowing that he is overpaid and is an underachiever.

Everyone knows that before anyone can have any kind of thoughts (suicide or otherwise) that person had to do a little thinking. I don't see any evidence of thinking here on Williams' part.

Don't think of it as losing a lover and fiance, Mario. Think of it as losing a blood-sucking beach.

May 21, 2013  01:01 PM ET

It will come down to "intent." As in, she took the ring with the intention of marriage. That is the only defense his lawyer can put out there. The $230,000 spent o a credit card he gave her was a gift. I think Mario is just ticked and that is why the ring return lawyer up deal.

That woman used him like a rental car. Happens all the time. I sure hope that he gets that ring back.
