07:19 AM ET 05.21 | The legend of Johnny Manziel continues to grow. SMU coach June Jones, whose team lost to Manziel and the Aggies 48-3, recently said "Johnny Football" is the greatest college football player he has ever seen. That's what Manziel wants the consensus to be when he is done. An encore, with a national championship, arguably would push Manziel past Vince Young, Sammy Baugh, Jim Thorpe, Tim Tebow, Herschel Walker, Red Grange, Archie Griffin, Dick Butkus, Earl Campbell and whomever else is in the debate. "My goals are lofty," Manziel told the Star-Telegram. "I know what I want to achieve. My biggest goal is I want to do something at A&M that will never, ever be done again. Never."

"... I want to do something at A&M that will never, ever be done again. Never."

Easy. Leave the sheep alone.

Baby steps, win the SEC West first.

"I want to do something at A&M that will never, ever be done again. Never."

Okay. Beat Bama every year of your college career. That will probably never happen at TAMU.

Thoughts and prayers this morning to all the people in OKC. What a sad day for them. We play soccer overe ther a few times a year, and always find the people in the community nice and friendly.

Sad day for sure......

That's the tricky part. If Johnny Boy sticks to athletic achievements, no matter how stat-busting, eye-popping, mind-boggling his performance, there will always be a chance that someone will match or exceed it at some point in the future. If he strays from athletics into the realm of stunts or sociopathic behavior, well, the odds improve for "never again."

Reality check Johnny, you weren't the best player on your team (Joeckel, Matthews) and there will come a time real soon where your 200 lbs. frame will get banged up because one of them is gone. (how do you leave Hugh Green and Bo Jackson off that "greatest" list?)
