07:05 AM ET 05.23 | If Dwight Howard is going to wind up in Dallas, it will take some shuffling of the future. [The Mavericks], with their first lottery draft pick in a dozen years firmly in hand, have their eyes on a bigger prize. Multiple sources have told ESPN.com's Chad Ford the Mavs are likely to shop the pick in hopes of creating the cap space necessary to make a run at [Howard] in free agency. The 13th overall pick has a cap hold of $1,655,300. ... The hope is to sell Howard or Chris Paul -- who would each have to sacrifice a fifth year on the max contract that he could get from the Lakers and Clippers, respectively -- on the possibility of building a championship contender. "We'd love to get one of the main guys," Nowitzki said last week.

If Cuban took a young star from both LA teams he would be the most hated man in LA.

He'll love it.

What? No thread about LeBron's game-winner? Or the fact that Indiana's coach kept his franchise center on the bench which made Lebron's layup so easy?

strange indeed, but understandable.
I don't think that should be the main reason for the loss.
To me 2 things:
1. Not taking and building any sort of lead with James and Bosh both on the bench with 2 fouls in the 2nd quarter
2. 20 turnovers.

He's been hated for a long time but it will make him look like a genius for sure. There's a great chance that he will look more like a fool...

Hard to build a lead against the Heat. They just softened up on that 2.2 seconds. They needed to pressure the inbounds pass and should have doubled right away from the weak side...

Also not having Hibbert in there killed it. No one else could defend the paint.

Yuup, the coach took him out twice and he didn't learn from the first time. Both times were Lebron layups...

I would agree with that statement if all of the big 3 were in there but with James and Bosh on the bench you have to do something to take advantage of that.

Birdman had a huge game last night. They gave him everything right at the basket.

Birdman had a field day because Hibbert had to help out on penetrations which gives him uncontested dunks...

If he pulls it off then pretty soon people will go on Laker and Clipper threads and say "Wow, Cuban really messed these teams up!". :)

Hehehe!

I know but let me explain it for the others to know. Kobe didn't make Dwight feel at home period...
