07:13 AM ET 05.23 | The teenage all-star team that is Kentucky's freshman class had other plans, something Wildcats hoops fans will no doubt appreciate. [You] might have learned none of these young men will play for America this summer in the FIBA U19 World Championships. According to UK coach John Calipari, that is not by his design. "Most of it is, they didn't want to play. I'm not forcing kids to do anything," Calipari told Sporting News. "I think the reason they all turned it down is, they want to get started." Kentucky's rich haul of 2013 recruits will bring guards Andrew and Aaron Harrison to Lexington, along with forward James Young, power forward Julius Randle and center Dakari Johnson. All were eligible for the U19 squad.

Hey, lets go easy on these kids, they gotta get their new cars from Caliparahna's cronies all tricked out before school starts man, there's no time to do something selfless like represent your country. Besides, the clock is ticking for when Caliparahna kicks them out of school and installs his next AAU team next year.
