07:14 AM ET 05.24 | Brady Hoke may not be a fan of Ohio State, but he has no problem with the state itself. The footballs U-M receiver Bo Dever tweeted a photo of this week, which said "Made In the USA, Not In Ohio," were not commissioned by Hoke. In fact, he said he didn't know anything about them. "I wish I knew," he said in an interview on KLSD-AM (1360) on Wednesday. "I guess we can find out from Adidas. I had no idea and I get into work, and I see that this has been tweeted out. The only thing I can say is the head coach at Michigan is from Ohio, and we've got a lot of football players from Ohio on our football team, so we think there's some good things made in Ohio." Dever's tweet was removed after it was discovered and went viral, but the damage was done.

Texas kids want to play for a good football team...

Look on the Adidas website and it will show the Rifle football as "imported." One source I read said India. So TSUN is not only guilty of dissing the Buckeye State (where Wilson footballs are proudly made, BTW), but also of false advertising. For shame.

Footballs were "promotional items" from Adidas to try and get Michigan to buy their product.

They currently buy all of their footballs from Ohio.
