01:57 PM ET 05.24 | Restricted free agent Sergei Bobrovsky stands to become a wealthy man. A day after Columbus Blue Jackets general manager Jarmo Kekalainen stated that the organization planned to retain Bobrovsky, even in the event of an offersheet, a report surfaced stating that SKA St. Petersburg of Russia's Kontinental Hockey League plans to offer the free agent a lucrative contract. Coming off a breakout season (albeit lockout shortened), Bobrovsky was named as a finalist for the Vezina Trophy. In the minds of many, he is the shoe-in favorite to win the award. Combine this with the potential of an offer sheet, as well as a lucrative offer from the KHL and you have an ideal bargaining chip to push for a contract of your choosing.

Really. They have been trading away top flight goalies ever since Doug Favell

Or at least wear your goalie equipment when you board one of those death machines.

Lucky guy in the car that got hit by debris. Must've been so scared, he forgot to stop. He just kept going.

Now your talking.

Philly has had many, including sir Bob, and has given away or traded anyone whose last name isn't Boucher, which given a better chance at the start like some teams do, such as the Habs, or the Leafs.....some teams like Philly would have a better chance at winning, as the chemistry can be built with the Dmen. Always a factor I don't feel is considered enuff......

Too bad there is no Hextall type goalies around, and don't say Emery either, he's just a wanna be compared to Ron HEXTALL!

Great games to watch when he was on top, and he gave Philly a good run...ahhh the good ole days!
