05:04 AM ET 05.26 | When the Oakland Raiders drafted quarterback Tyler Wilson in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft, a lot of fans were scratching their heads. The same Raiders team that traded for young and on-the-rise quarterback Matt Flynn earlier in the offseason? The same team that has prospective quarterback talent in Terrelle Pryor? Yes, that same Raiders team. Although, the signing of Wilson makes sense for some different reasons. First, can you ever have enough quarterbacks? Sure, Flynn and Pryor are good projected talent, but Wilson should fall in that category as well. The 112th pick in the draft has come to a Raiders squad that is unsure of who their starting quarterback will be, and really, the job is completely up for grabs.

No.

He's very talented and was thought to be a hot prospect after their excellent season 2 years ago, but this last season was awful for the program and his stock took a bit of a hit.

As a 4th rounder, he was an excellent value pick.

meh. When you don't have a proven franchise qb, they all have flashes of talent when there isn't a scoreboard.

What if Pryor has a few good games like Flynn did? Teams looking for a QB would want him and the Raiders in turn would get draft picks, etc. Plus he's a 4th rounder so he wont cost that much to the Raiders Cap.

Yes! Wilson was an excellent pick up. He will probably be the starter before to very long into the season. He very intelligent & and can read the defence. The first thing he ask for when he got to Oakland was the play book. Believe me he is studying it right now. He will be ready to play. He has a great arm & very good work ethics. The fans don't have to worry about him, it's Pryor & Flynn that should be worried.

QUOTE(#9):

Nothing in this article leads me to believe this kid is anything but a 3rd string backup.

C'mon Dole. A third round backup already beat Flynn out of a job. Why not a third string one?

QUOTE(#7):

This reinforces my belief that Aaron Pryor is not that good.

But Richard was great.
