10:02 AM ET 05.26 | The NBA is reviewing Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade's elbow to Indiana Pacers guard Lance Stephenson's head, a person familiar with the review told USA TODAY Sports under the condition of anonymity. The person requested anonymity because he was not authorized to speak while NBA vice president of basketball Stu Jackson's office looked at the play. While the NBA typically reviews all plays, the Wade play is drawing a closer look. The incident happened at halfcourt with 4:05 left in the fourth quarter and Indiana ahead 89-88. Wade had just turned the ball over on a bad pass and ran back on defense as the Pacers pushed the ball. Stephenson was in Wade's way, and Wade leapt to ostensibly avoid Stephenson and caught him with a left elbow to the head. Stephenson fell to the floor but remained in the game at the next dead ball.

If it was the other way around then Stephenson would be looking at at least 2 games suspension. It's the Heat and Wade so it will be push aside. So many posters already said it was an accident and it's Stephenson's fault for being in the way...

QUOTE(#11):

Anyone that says he hit him with an elbow is blind. It was the middle of his forearm that touched him as he tried to get past the guy. There was no blow. It was a huge acting job.I've watched, trained to throw and trained to receive elbow strikes for many years. No elbow made contact.

The announcers, as any watcher knows, didn't even hesitate to say it did not look intentional. But D is getting a Dirty rep (fairly or unfairly, depending on how you fit your blinders).
