Big decisions looming for Bruins

07:22 AM ET 05.28 | Entering a series with the deep and dangerous Penguins, Boston is getting healthier at the right time. Dennis Seidenberg is back. Wade Redden is close to returning. And Andrew Ference is making progress. At some point, Bruins coach Claude Julien is going to have tough decisions to make with his defensemen. Ference took the ice for the first time this weekend since suffering an injury to his left foot, and was seen working out with strength and conditioning coach John Whitesides. ... [The Bruins] received a youthful boost from rookies Dougie Hamilton, Torey Krug and Matt Bartkowski. When Seidenberg returned in Game 7 against New York, Julien sat Hamilton. As Redden and Ference inch closer to a return, there is no guarantee that both will be back in the lineup.

If PGH somehow manages to get past the Bruins, they owe TOR big time. All those injuries took place in the first round.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Leave Ference and Redden in the team luxury box for now.

They'll never get better sitting in the luxury box, especially Redden. I'd put then in the press box and make them sit on folding metal chairs.

Krug isn't coming out. Redden sits. Ference or Bartowski is a coin flip.

If krug sits, then someone ought to test the water at TD Garden

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

They should probably test it regardless.

It'll just be during intermissions. It hardly balances out all of McGuire's man-love for Crosby during the entire game.

This is far from the truth. PM is "any port in the storm."

Depending on the time/game, it has been Crosby, Giroux, Richards, Ovie. Sorry to disagree, but PM has no more love for Crosby than the current flavor of the month.

Sit Ference and risk not getting the "bird," during the game? Bummer.
