Magic interested in Bledsoe?

03:00 PM ET 05.29 | The Orlando Magic could reportedly attempt to acquire Los Angeles Clippers point guard Eric Bledsoe in anticipation of pursuing a wing player in next month's draft. With management souring on the idea of drafting Michigan point guard Trey Burke with the No. 2 overall pick, the team is looking at different ways of filling its point guard hole while still getting value out of its early selection. One scenario could see the team acquiring Bledsoe to join the team's top pick, someone like Ben McLemore of Kansas or Victor Oladipo of Indiana, in a remade backcourt next season. Such a deal could see Orlando send shooting guard Arron Afflalo to L.A. for Bledsoe and the expiring contract of Caron Butler, which would allow the Magic to free up minutes for a rookie wing while adding a long-term solution at point guard. However, it still remains to be seen whether Los Angeles has any interest in moving Bledsoe, despite his value being extremely high for a back-up.

QUOTE(#2):

Afflao? No thanks.I'd rather use the #25 pick on Crabbe from Cal or Hardaway/Rice JR.

Afflalo is actually a very solid role player. I think he probably makes too much money but can really contribute defensively and offensively.

Butler was actually a really solid player with no flash & streak like Crawford all year long. You can take Hollins or Turiaf for free but leave Butler alone.

Good move. Bledsoe is proven in the league. His time is now. Learning from CP3 is helpful.
