01:27 PM ET 05.30 | Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was in the injury news again on Wednesday when reports surfaced that he would indeed need surgery on his back. That information coupled with his four recent arm surgeries could be very troubling for Patriots fans, but Gronkowski's agent Drew Rosenhaus told WQAM 560-AM in South Florida on Thursday that his clients latest surgical procedure is no big deal.

Can we have Drew Rosenhaus undergo the back surgery instead of Gronk?

Or maybe that Mary Queen of Scots procedure on his neck?

Great talent but oh so very brittle.

But,still, Drew isn't going to have Gronk do stomach crunches on his driveway.

Rosenhaus says: Gronk's not a running back, or a quarterback, or even a defensive back. He's a tight end. He doesn't even use his back! What's all the hoopla about?

That eight-year, $55 million contract with $13 million guaranteed he signed last June may be the smartest move the kid ever made. Taking it to free agency is not always the smart move for the player.

So what if he can't bend over, have you ever tried tackling a penguin?

May 30, 2013  05:53 PM ET

Rosenhaus said it. So it has to be true.

Agent doing his job; no one listening!

Unless Drew had this same surgery he can stop blowing smoke up everyone's chimney.

Looks like The Gronk'er is a gonner.
