01:52 PM ET 05.30 | Denver Broncos running back Willis McGahee has managed to stay relatively healthy during his NFL career, but a torn MCL in Week 11 of last season forced him out of the final six games and playoffs. Perhaps for that reason and perhaps for the fact that McGahee turns 32 in October, Denver's lead back has not shown up for OTAs yet.

"denver's lead back" sounds a bit presumptuous to me

QUOTE(#1):

No reason to rush back from that injury.OTAs must suck for the players.

Exactly right. OTAs are supposed to be voluntary and a running back can only take so many hits in his career. This is better for McGahee and the Broncos.

Local Bronco's PbP radio man, Dave Logan, had coverage on his afternoon show that Manning is setting up for Monte Ball to be the #1 with the absence of WM.

Might just be some high heat to try and shift McGahee's thought process about OTA's.
