One of the most noticeable things about this year's preseason has been the Dodge teams don't seem to be bickering among themselves. That's different. Will it mean better results on the track? We'll see.

Go K-A-S-E-Y...........and Dodge for that matter.

They beter get it togetehr, the heat is on with the Bud sponsorship. Repeat after me.... Must beat Junior, Must beat Junior.

February 7, 2008  01:10 PM ET

okay - must beat junior

You see, that's what's wrong with NASCAR. They call it "bickering." I don't think Cale Yarbourgh and Donnie Allison were "bickering" at Daytona, do you? Man up NASCAR!

February 7, 2008  02:23 PM ET

Hooah!05 -- Cale & Donnie ,, were 2 piszzed off dudes in the day
and if you would have seen them last year at an old timers meeting
on the Speed Channel THEY STILL ARE with the remarks they were
making = it was funny as he//

this is all Nascar has for a story, no wonder why ratings are down.

February 7, 2008  02:51 PM ET

Thats a great story Sly.......there way two Allison right? That fight boosted nascar big time.........

February 7, 2008  03:12 PM ET

That story is fine, I was replying to the story that the dodge teams are all happy with each other, I think it's boring . with Daytona on the way there should be something, I mean with Gibbs at Toyota and JR with Hendrick, Roush having seven teams?

February 7, 2008  03:54 PM ET

Thats right mkcf. Cause when them toyota's start winning race's this year them dodge boy's will start bickering again! GO CHEVY!!!

February 7, 2008  04:06 PM ET

Yes Sir; Toyota is going to win some races this year.
Go Tony GO

February 7, 2008  04:10 PM ET

If i had to place a bet on who would win this weekend i would say #88 or one of the gibbs toyota's! Whats up on that??

February 7, 2008  04:15 PM ET

i like the roush cars , but it is real tuff to go against the hendrick camp. And Toyota will be something to watch at Gibs.

February 7, 2008  04:48 PM ET

YEP. All but MWR. Still dont think they will have what it takes to win races!!

February 7, 2008  04:58 PM ET

Mikey should run well at Daytona........Toyota and Gibbs in particular will give Toyota somes wins -agree.

February 7, 2008  05:02 PM ET

YEAH It would be nice to see MIKEY and DJ run good. But i still dont think that MWR will win a race this year .

February 7, 2008  05:22 PM ET

I hope so... Dodge and their teams always seem to shoot themselves in the foot before every season. If Penske is the only Dodge team that wins races this year, I really think they will be behind Toyota in the manufacturer's championship... heck Toyota could beat Ford too if Roush isn't stronger than last year.

That's what I'm talking about. Ain't no hugging and making up. These boys got a beef (disregard the avatar, that's about supper) and they aim to keep at it. Bickering! Give me a break.

I am not a Toyota fan by far, but I think people are alittle hard omn Mikey, He started an entire racing company racing two different cars And had 5 race teamd counting the Busch now Natiowide series, that is a lot of things to get up and running. I give credit where credit is due and though he had trouble he still got alot done in a short time, look at The Woods Bros and Petty, they have had race teams forever and are struggling to make races.

MadKCfan....than you for defending MIKEY.....and you are very right.....He still has some wins in him....and even though MWR had the crappiest year ever, Gibbs Racing and Toyota both learned a few things from that disastrous 2007. Please note, I am NOT saying their success will be because of MWR....what I am trying to say, is that you learn more from bad situations thatn from good ones.
BUT, don't rule MWR out yet....Mikey still has a few wins in him yet and for Reutemann, the potential is endless.
