04:51 PM ET 05.31 | Denver Broncos rookie running back Montee Ball is getting some extra attention from quarterback Peyton Manning, who is doing all he can during OTAs to get Ball prepared to play in the regular season. Manning expects Ball to be an important part of Denver's offense this season (via USA TODAY's Lindsay H. Jones): "We're just kind of going through plays, going through games, getting him comfortable hearing audibles at the line of scrimmage. Because we are going to count on him in a big way this year," Manning said. "He's a rookie, but coach (John) Fox isn't going to bring him along slowly."

Peyton Manning is telling Willis McGahee that he is displeased that he is not at OTAs.

Save your veteran RB for the regular season, and develop your rookie RBs in OTAs!

The intern left out an important poke. They had a charity golf tournament as part of OTA and PM made sure Ball was in his foursome. I'm not sure it's a message to Willis, I think it's a message to Monte.

I agree with you. Peyton does not.

What kind of deal did Manning make?

All I know is, if The Broncos had Tebow at Quarterback in that Overtime, he moves the Chains, they kick the field goal and win the Game, so why bother Pissing off McGahee?

You can't read the last chapter and say "Hemingway would have wrote a way better epilogue". Would Tebow have gotten there in that season and that game to be in position to move the chains? I do not believe that - no way, jose. It's an easy argument though, the year before he got there and did that. That year was a freak show - last possession come back game after game. I'm a Tebow fan but I don't want him running my team.
